Nitrogen Generators

PSA nitrogen generators separate nitrogen molecules from oxygen molecules in the compressed air. All other gases in the compressed air system are adsorbed, leaving behind as pure nitrogen as possible. To ensure a continuous supply, the system typically utilises two towers, alternating between adsorption and regeneration phases. The nitrogen is then stored until it is ready for use. 

The purity levels achievable with nitrogen generation can range from 95% to an impressive 99.999%, depending on the specific system configuration.

Industries that use high-purity nitrogen include: food packaging to extend shelf life, laser cutting for clean and precise results, and electronics manufacturing to prevent oxidation.

Oxygen Generators

Similar to nitrogen generation, oxygen generators separate oxygen molecules from other molecules. Compressed air is passed through zeolite beds that adsorb the nitrogen, allowing for oxygen to be collected as the main product gas. Similar to nitrogen PSA, the system operates in cycles to regenerate the zeolite and ensure a continuous oxygen supply.

The typical purity range for generated oxygen is between 90% and 95%.
